Theresa Trapilo Obituary

If you knew Theresa Trapilo you never needed to look up the definition of compassion or love. She embodied warmth and brought peace into every life she touched. Theresa was counted as a best friend often and though she only had one child, was the mother to many. She’s in heaven now. That’s what people say. And it’s true. But for those who knew Theresa, to those many lives she touched and changed forever, she was heaven. A gift for us all, to experience the care, the peace, the courage, and gentleness any paradise could hope to offer. Her example of patience, kindness, and bravery taught so many how to navigate this world. Her warmth and compassion made the river of life flow with a little more joy and a little more tranquility. If her life were a painting, they would have to create new colors to capture the depth of her love for others. If her life were a song, new instruments would need to be devised to mirror how she invented new ways to touch and care for those around her. Every language we use on this planet seems too selfish to be about her, so no poem written could hope to do her justice.  We will probably never know just how much good she did, nor how many lives she touched. She worked miracles as much as she was one herself, and we were all lucky and blessed to have the privilege to share this planet with her while she called it home.

Her life is celebrated by her son Michael and grandson Ronan; her sisters Beverly and Mary and Brother-in-Laws John and Richard Sister-in-Laws Susan, Kim and Margaret ; her nephews and nieces; Anthony, Stephanie, Richard, Kristin, Nicole, Jordyn, Devyn, Ozzy-Dean, Colin, G’Nai, Tyler John
