Louis Cole Obituary

Cole, Louis, 77, of Norwood, MA, formerly of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on November 13, 2020.

Beloved companion of the late Patricia Cole (Odell).  Dedicated parent of Cynthia Lewicki (Cole) and her husband Frederick of Plainville, MA.  James Cole and his companion Beth McCrae of Attleboro, MA and three beloved Step Children, John Michael Hess, Kelly Hess, and Kristin Olson and her husband Douglas Olson, all of Walpole MA.  Son of the late Clayton J. Cole and Evelyn Cole (Phillips). Sibling of Frank Kilroy, IL, John Cole AZ, Evelyn Wilfong MA, all predeceased Louis .  Devoted Papa to Laura Perkoski and her husband Jared and their son Luke who was the only great-grandchild of Attleboro MA, Ryan Lewicki and Joseph Lewicki of Plainville MA, Kelsey Cole and James Cole of Attleboro and Isabella, Kevin and Cameron Olson of Walpole MA.  Louis Cole also leaves behind his beloved dog Molly that he adopted a few years ago at The Pawtucket Animal Shelter and is now being loved and taken care of by family.

Louis was educated in Bloomingdale, IL and after High school Louis joined the US Navy and served for 4 years on the USS WASP.  He also served 2 years in the Navy Reserves.  After returning home he started a career as a meat cutter at the Hilo Meat Market in North Attleboro and continued his career in various stores for over 40 years. He took pride in his work and would give anyone advice that asked. Lou loved all sports but was especially a baseball fan Lou was the VP of the North Attleboro MA Little League for many years.  He loved the Red Sox and anything baseball.  Dads love for animals, especially dogs was his true passion.  He would have owned every dog in the shelter if he could. In his 50’s he enjoyed skiing and golfing but his favorite hobby was to refinish old furniture.
