Eileen Bradley Obituary

Eileen M. (McCarthy) Bradley, 59, of Quincy, formerly of Raynham passed away suddenly on Monday, July 26,2021.  She was born in Boston to Ruth (Mallard) McCarthy of Quincy and the late Joseph McCarthy. She graduated from Coyle and Cassidy High School in Taunton, Class of 1979, she went on to get her Nursing Degree from St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing Class of 1983, and then Northeastern for her BSN. She worked at Brockton Hospital, Neville Manor Nursing Home, and Cambridge Hospital Operating Room where she was a Surgical Nurse and then became the Manager of Perioperative Services.  She was the Beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Bradley Sr. Loving mother of Colleen McCarthy, her companion James Hallahan of Quincy, Kimberly Bradley of Quincy, Thomas Bradley Jr, his companion Amanda Adams their daughter Autumn of Haverhill, and her favorite child of all Penny, her Shih Tzu.
Sister of Anna Wall and her husband James of Abington, Maureen Houlihan and her husband Patrick of Middleboro, Joseph McCarthy of Raynham, and Daniel McCarthy and his wife Kathy of Middleboro. Adored Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed spending time doing crafts, ceramics, and taking care of her community garden.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday August 2, 2021 from 4-8pm at the Hamel-Lydon Chapel & Cremation Service of MA., 650 Hancock Street, Quincy. The funeral will commence from the funeral home on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 9:30 am to be followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church 370 Hancock Street, Quincy MA at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale Ma. Memorial donations in Eileen’s memory may be sent to the MSPCA, 350 So. Huntington Ave , Jamaica Plain, MA 02130
